Danny originally joined Warrant as a roadie, became the keyboardist and then the full-time drummer and keyboardist. Other things he's been involved in: "I was in a couple of local bands, -ZZYZX, London Fields, Knight Riot... I've spent much of my time producing and writing for myself and other artists." His family is also musically inclined. His father (Danny Wagner) was a singer in the 60's and his sister (Windy Wagner) is a rising solo artist (Visit Windy's Home Page). As an aside, I am told that he has a 24 track recording studio in his home. I have formally dubbed Danny as "The Most Underrated Warrant Member." He is exceptionally talented.
Danny left warrant around January, 2000 to further pursue his solo career. He currently has an album out. Read on for more information.
I've had the opportunity to listen to a few of the songs of the albume and I have to say that, based on what I heard, I've ordered the cd for myself! So go visit www.earbuzz.com and get the cd! You can listen to selections at that link or also at www.mp3.com.
"This is a great 13-song cd filled with melodic rock tunes, sung and
performed entirely by Danny. Some of the songs include: straightforward and
honest "Too Much Too Fast", poppy "Let Yourself Go", hauntingly beautiful
"Close My Eyes", MTV-ready "Strange Days", and trippy "Mary Monday". So, I
beg of you...BUY THIS CD! =)"
